Financial Aid –Free
tuition, Scholarships and Bursaries
Financial Aids are given from time to time to
students of the Polytechnic in form of scholarships
and bursaries. These aids either come from the
Federal Government, State Government or Private
organizations.
1.Federal government through the Federal Scholarship
Board, gives scholarship to students with Upper
Credit in the National Diploma Result and also three
points and above in the CGPA of two semesters of HND
I result.
2. Kwara State government also awards bursary to
students who are indigenes of the state. Other State
governments had often announced similar gestures for
their students schooling in Kwara State Polytechnic.
3. Financial aid usually comes from private
organizations. Such awards include Adisa Bakare
Educational Endowment Fund (ABEEF) scholarship Award
and Emmanuel Olufunmilayo Adedoyin Bursary Award.
Applications of students are forwarded to the
Awarding Bodies on request after which qualified
candidates would be given the award. Notification of
such opportunities are made through appropriate
channels.
