ACADEMIC OBJECTIVES

The original objectives in founding the polytechnic are:

i.                     To provide those categories of the technical manpower critically needed in the promotion and acceleration of the economic development of Kwara state and the country.

ii.                   To provide self-employment Technicians and Technologist with proper work orientation who will take pride in the dignity of labour and the dexterity of their hands.

iii.                  To centralize advanced level works in Kwara state so as to produce better results while making the maximum use of resources.

To establish a programme for the pre-service and service training of science teachers.
